Denver Chapter 5 President
As your president, I was fortunate enough this summer to get to attend our National Convention. It was held this year in Grapevine, Texas, which is just outside of Dallas.
The first order of business Thursday night for me was to collect all the regional awards that we had won: Best Chapter Program, Best Chapter Website, and Best Chapter Newsletter. Thanks to Kye Holtan Brown for all her hard work putting everything together for us.
Then I had a chance to catch up with other members from across the country. That is the truly rewarding part of attending the convention: meeting new people, catching up with old friends, and sharing ideas.
